I have been working on editing some sessions. I have a maternity that I am finishing up and would love to also get some more Shawn Stockwell photos posted here. This has been a crazy start of 2008.Can I just say how much I appreciate a certain BLOG goddess extraordinaire? My friend Theresa Stanton. This was my favorite image I took of her at a family photo session.
Theresa is a portrait photographer serving Central California near San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas. I have known her for a few years now and enjoy going to workshops and hanging out when she is up here visiting her family. If you get a chance, check out her blog and see what a lifesaver she is for folks that don’t have time to do the dirty work of setting one up! I owe her big time for getting me up and rolling. Looking forward to seeing you this month, T. Check her stuff out, Blogs for Photogs.Well, some interesting news is coming regarding the future of Pam Biasotti Photography. In approximately 6 months (maybe sooner) I will be doing this full time. That means I am more available than ever to work with you at your convenience by doing that special session. I am very excited about this new path. I have so many plans and ideas on how I want to pursue this exciting change. One thing I am looking for right now (for a project I am putting together) are DOGS. Yep. Those canine loves we have. Did you know besides photography my dog Riley is my other passion? I used to be heavy into dog training, obedience trials and he was just learning how to do agility when son #2 made his entrance into the world. I put a lot of that on hold. I am happy to report that Riley WILL have a CD put on him in Novice B before he ever goes to the Rainbow Bridge–I promise. He’s only 8. He’s only 8. Let me repeat again…he’s only 8. We might not get a OTCH, but at least we can get his AKC Companion Dog title going. Today he was resting on my bed (cause Dad wasn’t around to tell him to get off) and I thought I would capture a nice shot of him smiling while I rubbed his old belly. By the way, when he jumps up on our bed he chooses Dad’s side. He knows what’s the right choice.
So anyway, I am doing a project with dogs right now. If you are interested in having me photograph your pup please contact me. I will be selecting a few canines for this project and there will be no session fee and I will toss in a few 8 x 10’s for your trouble. You can reach me at 925-556-1529 or info@pambiasotti.com

Happy February!
Meeting Shawn Stockwell in Palo Alto
Adorable 9 year old Shawn. Shawn was born with a rare and complicated heart defect - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He has survived many, many surgeries, unbelievable complications, and yet he has an iron will and a determination like no other. Shawn is now at a point that his heart is failing and needs a new heart. He currently lives at the Ronald McDonald House near the Stanford Medical Center with his mom, Trista, sisters Amanda and Haley. His father, George lives and works in Alaska (where they are from) and was able to make it down here for the holidays to spend some quality family time. I really enjoyed spending a little time with them today.
