can you believe I remember this event, even though I lived in Milwaukee? For some reason I remember this event like it was yesterday… watching the news and feeling heartbreak for all those people living in CA.

I was at my home away from home, EDCC. No phones, no power, quite a few kids, and a lot of worry over their parents’ safety. First priority, always, was keep them safe, and calm. Eventually all of our families arrived to pick up, and were ok. Wish everyone else had been as lucky. Thanks for your remembrance.

My Dad was there Pam and sadly will not return to SF as a result.
Can’t imagine what many people experienced that day.
