Which are many unfortunately today. I am deeply sorry I had to cancel your photo sessions this afternoon at Blue Sky studio. My dog Riley became very ill this morning and passed away this afternoon shortly after I hurried home to be with him. I will blog more about this tomorrow–I am deeply grateful for all the words of encouragement and support from friends, family and clients that this has affected. I will be contacting all of you for a reschedule of dates and places as well as my clients who are waiting on galleries–just give me a day or so to get myself together and we will be back on track.
Good night sweet Riley…you gave me 9 years of love and laughter. I know that beautiful sunset tonight was you looking over our family.

After getting off the phone with you I sat and stared at the pictures of Riley on your site. My eyes are full of tears and my heart is heavy, because I know the sadness you’re feeling. Our pets are so near and dear and it’s never easy to see them pass on. You are so good at capturing a pets character and that very special bond that’s shared in your photography — that’s something that can be treasured forever. My thoughts and sympathy are with you and your family.

I am so sorry, your love of animals shines brightly and Riley most certainly benefited the most. In the last year we have lost our 13 yr old lab, our 15 yr old lab, and a kitten we had only for 2 weeks, so the pain your are experiencing so quite fresh for me too. I will be thinking of you.
