Did you know I like to shoot concert photography and band photos? Pam Biasotti is not only a newborn, children and maternity photographer. (I sound like Jimmy from Seinfeld speaking in third person here.) Here are some sneak peaks of a group called Calaveras. They are a local folk, jazz, blues, and country band located here in the East Bay. I hope I described them accurately! One of the nicest things that worked on this session was how relaxed they were with me and how they moved and posed in front of the camera. It made my job very easy. One thing I adore about St. Mary’s College in Moraga is the Spanish architecture and the white walls create this fabulous soft light.

So, I am going to be traveling later this week down to San Diego to assist a friend of mine at her workshop. First I am stopping off in central California to meet up with my sister who is down visiting to see the Tour of California bike race. She will be celebrating her birthday which is just 4 days before mine and my parents will be joining us for dinner as well. Look at my travel here…of course Google thinks the best way to San Diego is to take the boring Highway 5 route. I guess I didn’t input that I was stopping in Los Olivos on the way.

Have you ever seen the movie Sideways? That is exactly where I will be for dinner.
I am looking forward to heading to Southern California. My wish is that it’s warmer and sunnier. The forecast looks like this

I really don’t see a change compared to here. The nice thing will be checking out the ocean and seeing some friends and just being free to enjoy a few days of zero responsibilities.

Lucky for your Sideways tour! Have fun with Angela. I love this last image of the band – the black and white image under the tree! great work.
