Not really an experiment. Just a few moments of procrastinating (you know, laundry,cleaning up the kitchen, etc.) last evening led me to play with my camera in a way I don’t seem to do enough of lately. Light tracing is a fun way to capture motion. We have a rotating pre-lit Xmas tree and while I was sitting on the floor, petting Riley, my faithful Golden, I thought about how pretty the tree was. Not wanting another typical Xmas tree photo, I grabbed my camera and started shooting at different angles and long exposures. Here are a few that I came up with that I liked.
